Getting Started - Workshops
Looking to start a business, not sure where to begin? Why not start your business development journey with us? Follow our step-by-step entry level workshops designed to enhance your learning experience from pre-start to start-up. Today we are offering a series of pre-start business workshops to get you thinking about your business set-up. These workshops are designed to assist participants to explore their business idea and to provide practical steps towards business readiness along with connecting to a range of business supports and resources. Community groups or training organisations are encouraged to engage with our services as part of an economic development strategy that you may have. Our pre-start business workshops are divided into 6-parts and normally run for 2-hours each. Each workshop, in sequential order, are progressive by nature, are connected by a range of practical steps, proven concepts, tips and examples towards starting a business. We have three solutions to choose from, depending on your learning requirements. Solution # A: Virtual Workshops: These workshops run for 2-hours at a time using the Zoom video conferencing platform - available Australia-wide (group bookings only). Solution # B: In-House Workshops: These run 2-hours at a time at selected locations. Limited to WA. (group bookings only). Solution # C: Digital Downloads: These downloadable packs are suited to those who prefer to self-learn at home or simply don't have the time to partake in the other solutions on offer.
All in all, this workshop aims to assist participants to explore and map their business idea and to provide practical steps towards business readiness along with connecting to a range of business supports and resources.

This session is designed to introduce participants to a range of fundamental business concepts, definitions and examples in starting a business. It’s about creating a business mindset in preparing for the real thing.

This session is designed to up-the-ante and get participants to put their ideas on paper and to plan it out. It’s about framing all that talk and putting it into structured and well-thought-out actionable plan.
# 3 Do I have a marketing strategy?
This session is designed to explore your market base and preparing you to meet market expectations. It’s about having clear marketing strategies to ensure your business reaches its intended market.

This session is designed to build your financial framework for your business. It’s about crunching the numbers and managing your budget and revenue base:

This session is directed towards a checklist of compliance and legal requirements that need to be considered when starting a business, as well as registrations licensing and insurances
# 6 Fast-track to start-up
This session is a combination of the steps used throughout our pre-start program. We walk through each step, emphasising key points and supporting information, resources and networks
